If the mock drafts are to be believed, the USC Trojans are almost certainly going to have a player selected in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft, much like they did last season when Austin Jackson went No. 18 overall to the Miami Dolphins.

While tackle Alijah Vera-Tucker seems destined to go around the same spot in 2021, it may be a while until the next USC player is selected.

The latest mock draft comes from Luke Easterling at USA TODAY’s Draft Wire, and he only has Vera-Tucker representing USC in his two-round mock.

Easterling once again has Vera-Tucker going No. 16 overall to the Arizona Cardinals, but the real story here is who is not on the list. No Jay Tufele. No Amon-Ra St. Brown. No Talanoa Hufanga.

It is certainly possible the NFL combine will elevate a few of these guys, much like the helium that lifed Michael Pittman last year, but for now it looks like the Trojans may only have one player selected on day one of the NFL draft this April.
