MCKINNEY, Texas (AP) _ Encore Wire Corp. (WIRE) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $24.1 million.
The McKinney, Texas-based company said it had net income of $1.17 per share.
The copper wire maker posted revenue of $380.8 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $76.1 million, or $3.68 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.28 billion.
Encore Wire shares have increased almost 6% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $64.10, a climb of 11% in the last 12 months.
