Are you sick of seeing what experts are thinking the Tennessee Titans will do in the 2021 NFL draft yet? Good, neither are we, and there’s a long way to go before the team actually has to make its decision, with the draft starting on April 29.

In his most recent mock draft, Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling does a two-round projection for every team, including the Titans, and he has general manager Jon Robinson taking an EDGE in Round 1, and a cornerback in Round 2.

At No. 22 overall, the Titans select Penn State EDGE Jayson Oweh. While we can debate if Oweh is a first-round pick after failing to notch a single sack in 2020, at least the position taken is on point.  After all, the Titans sported one of the worst pass rushes in the NFL last season.

Robinson should definitely look to add a pass rusher in the draft, but his No. 1 priority is landing at least one big fish in the free-agent market, as the Titans need an immediate impact that a rookie doesn’t always provide.

In the second round, Easterling pegs Georgia cornerback Tyson Campbell to the Titans at No. 53 overall. Campbell finished 2020 with one pick, 2.5 tackles for loss and five passes defensed.

The Titans have some questions to answer at the cornerback position this offseason, namely with Malcolm Butler, who is a potential cap casualty, and Desmond King, who manned the slot in 2020 but is becoming a free agent.

Looking ahead, there are even more questions left to be answered, like will Adoree’ Jackson prove he’s worthy of a long-term deal in 2021? Will Kristian Fulton be ready to take the reins of becoming the team’s No. 1 corner?

As a result of all of that uncertainty, we wouldn’t be shocked to see Robinson nab a young corner in one of the first two or three rounds of the 2021 NFL draft.
