The Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up to face the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field in Week 4. It’s the first time that the Chiefs have traveled to Philly since 2013.

To learn more about Kansas City’s opponent, we spoke with managing editor Glenn Erby over at Eagles Wire and asked him a few questions.

Chiefs Wire: Both the Chiefs and Eagles are 1-2 on the season. What has been the biggest problem holding the Eagles back from a 3-0 start?

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Eagles Wire: After a hot start against the Falcons, the Eagles have been plagued by undisciplined play, penalties, and turnovers.  Philadelphia wasn’t necessarily going to start out 3-0, but they’ve been in every game up until the late second quarter of the matchup against Dallas. You simply have a young roster and young coaching staff learning on the job together.

CW: Former Chiefs CB Steven Nelson plays for the Eagles now. What does Philly think about Nelson and who do you think he’ll be tasked with covering on Sunday?

Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

EW: Nelson’s been a much-needed upgrade opposite Darius Slay. He’s had moments of blown coverage and looking confused at times, but he’s solid against the run, a proven veteran and he’s added much-needed leadership in the secondary.

CW: If Andy Reid wins on Sunday he’ll become the only NFL coach to win 100 games with two teams. Even though he never won a championship there, what do you think Reid’s lasting legacy in Philly will be?

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

EW: Andy set the standard here in Philadelphia and it’s just unfortunate that it took him moving on to Kansas City for fans and critics to truly understand the quality of coach that he truly is. Reid is a Hall of Fame head coach, an offensive genius, and a true leader of men.

CW: Are there any underrated players on the Eagles that Chiefs fans should know about before the game?

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

EW: For Philadelphia, it’s definitely Quez Watkins and Kenneth Gainwell on the offensive side of the ball.  Watkins has assumed the role of Philadelphia’s big play deep threat, while Gainwell is a dynamic dual-threat rookie running back.

CW: What’s your prediction for the game? Who wins and why?

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

EW: The Chiefs are angry, while the Eagles are reeling.  Philadelphia hangs in there early, but Kansas City pulls away for a 34-21 win.
