Fantasy football waiver wire advice, Week 13: Best available WRs include Deebo Samuel, Corey Davis, Cole Beas… - DraftKings Nation

susilangs.blogspot.com

There are a few wide receivers widely available that either have good matchups heading into Week 13, or had successful Week 12 performances, or could benefit from an injury. With that in mind, here are six with under 50% ownership in traditional fantasy football leagues that managers can consider picking up for Week 13.

Disclaimer: The first three options are above 50 percent rostership, but we’ll give them a break here.

Week 13 byes: Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers

Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown, Robby Anderson, D.J. Moore, and Curtis Samuel will not be available.

Deebo Samuel, 49ers (56 percent)

Next up — BUF, WSH, @DAL, @ARI

Samuel returned from injury with a vengeance in Week 12 and put together his best fantasy performance of the year. He led San Francisco’s receiving corps with 11 catches for 133 yards on 13 targets. He didn’t record a rushing attempt for the first time this year but was clearly the 49ers’ best weapon. Brandon Aiyuk’s return could stop him from having a second straight monster game, but he’s a different maker who can eat up yards after the catch.

Corey Davis, Titans (54 percent)

Next up — CLE, @JAX, DET, @GB

Davis is keeping up with A.J. Brown in receptions and receiving yards but has five fewer touchdowns. He’s tallied at least three receptions and 67 receiving yards in three straight games and could boom if he ends his touchdown drought.

Cole Beasley, Bills (58 percent)

Next up — @SF, PIT, @DEN, @NE

Beasley tends to step it up when John Brown, who’s on the IR because of an ankle injury, can’t play. While he didn’t quite match the 109-yard game he had in Week 12 but did throw his lone touchdown pass of the year. He only trails Stefon Diggs in receptions and receiving yards among Bills players.

Denzel Mims, Jets (7 percent)

Next up — LV, @SEA, @LAR, CLE

Mims hasn’t had a crazy performance yet but has been given every opportunity to thrive. He’s been on the field for at least 90 percent of New York’s offensive snaps in each of his last three appearances and hasn’t been held under 60 receiving yards in three games. The Jets don’t have a very promising passing attack but Mims has shown flashes in recent weeks.

Allen Lazard, Packers (39 percent)

Next up — PHI, @DET, CAR, TEN

Lazard was underwhelming in his return from the IR but caught his third touchdown of the year in Green Bay’s Week 12 blowout win over Chicago. Lazard is still getting back into the flow of things following his return from a core injury and should see his involvement in the Packers’ offense grow. No team has scored more points than the Packers and a big target like Lazard could assert himself as a major red zone threat.

Nelson Agholor, Raiders (43 percent)

Next up — @NYJ, IND, LAC, MIA

Agholor has led Raiders wideouts in snaps for four straight weeks and leads them in touchdown catches as well. He’s been able to act as a WR1 in recent weeks because of injuries but is often a boom-or-bust-play. He’s a premier deep threat who doesn’t need a ton of catches to put up a strong stat line.

Hunter Renfrow, Raiders (17 percent)

Next up — @NYJ, IND, LAC, MIA

Renfrow hasn’t had monster games like Agholor but only trails Darren Waller in receptions, targets, and receiving yards. He’s consistently gotten himself on the stat sheet this year and tallied season highs in receptions (7) and receiving yards (73) against the Falcons in Week 12. A Week 13 matchup against the Jets could yield big numbers for Renfrow and Agholor.

T.Y. Hilton, Colts (38 percent)

Next up — @HOU, @LV, HOU, @PIT

Hilton made a comeback in Week 12 and scored his first touchdown of 2020. He caught four passes for 81 yards and a score while eclipsing 50 snaps for the first time since Week 6. Hilton’s workload has been dialed back because of his struggles but facing poor secondaries in the coming weeks could help him pad his stats.
