DataRobot has named Elise Leung Cole, former vice president and deputy general counsel at Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO), as chief people officer in a series of C-suite appointments aimed at driving the next phase of growth for the Boston-based enterprise artificial intelligence technology provider.
Michael Schmidt, chief scientist of DataRobot, assumed a new role as chief technology officer and Nick King, senior vice president of marketing, elevated to chief marketing officer, the company said Wednesday.
“As we enter this next stage of explosive growth, our people, culture, technical innovation and brand visibility are more important than ever,” said DataRobot CEO Dan Wright.
Wright added that he will work closely with the three appointees as the company aims to position itself as a global augmented intelligence provider.
Prior to Cisco, Cole served as general counsel at AppDynamics where she led the establishment of the application performance management tool vendor’s diversity, equity and inclusion function.
Schmidt will be in charge of developing DataRobot’s next-generation AI platform as its CTO. He joined the company four years ago through its acquisition of Nutonia, a software company he founded and led.
King will spearhead the company’s global marketing and brand strategy in his CMO position. DataRobot credited King with propelling its AI Experience Worldwide event.
