Week 10 Waiver Wire: Best pickups and targets for fantasy football include Rashod Bateman, Elijah Moore, and Devonta Freeman - Pro Football Network

susilangs.blogspot.com

Following a low-scoring Week 9, it’s time to improve our rosters for Week 10 by using the waiver wire. Let’s take a look at the top waiver wire pickups to target for your fantasy football team.

Week 10 Waiver Wire Targets | Quarterbacks

Which players can help your roster in advance of Week 10? Teddy Bridgewater makes for a solid streaming option. All roster percentages are from FleaFlicker.

Teddy Bridgewater, Denver Broncos (52% rostered)

The Broncos quarterback is rostered in 26% of Yahoo leagues. In Week 10, Teddy Bridgewater gets an Eagles defense that just surrendered 356 passing yards to Justin Herbert. Bridgewater is worth a dollar or two of FAAB if you need a streamer.

Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups | Running Backs

Week 10 is a very light week on the waiver wire at running back. Ty Johnson and Devonta Freeman represent the best of an uninspiring bunch.

Ty Johnson, New York Jets (34% rostered)

Last week wasn’t a great outing for Ty Johnson. He played 42% of the snaps, his highest total since Week 3. However, he had just 4 carries and 3 targets. Nevertheless, Johnson is a relevant member of this backfield alongside Michael Carter and has now scored in consecutive games.

Johnson is only on 13% of Yahoo teams. At worst, he’s useful depth for your fantasy team. Throw a 3-5% FAAB bid on him.

Devonta Freeman, Baltimore Ravens (36% rostered)

Devonta Freeman carried the ball 13 times for 79 yards and a touchdown. He led all Ravens running backs in snaps. On this high-powered offense, he at least needs to be on fantasy rosters. This late in the season, usable running backs are few and far between. He’s worth a 10-15% FAAB bid.

Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups | Wide Receivers

Here are the wide receivers to target on the Week 10 fantasy football waiver wire. Elijah Moore and Rashod Bateman are the receivers most likely to make a difference down the stretch.

Elijah Moore, New York Jets (42% rostered)

Moore’s snap share has been all over the place this season. This past Thursday, he played 60% of the snaps, his highest total since Week 2.

Moore caught 7 of 8 targets for 84 yards and 2 touchdowns. It will likely be his best game of the year, but he’s clearly earned an increased role and is a priority add this week. Moore is rostered in 26% of Yahoo leagues. He will cost anywhere from 5-15% of your FAAB.

Russell Gage, Atlanta Falcons (41% rostered)

Following a week where he scored zero points, Russell Gage bounced back with 7 catches for 64 yards. He should be a safe PPR WR3/4 the rest of the way. Rostered in just 16% of Yahoo leagues, Gage is worth a 3-5% FAAB bid.

Deonte Harris, New Orleans Saints (24% rostered)

This one is far from a priority add, but Deonte Harris did see 8 targets last week. He caught 6 of them for 52 yards. It’s doubtful Trevor Siemian attempts 41 passes again, but Harris did lead the team in receptions. He may be better than the last player on your bench, and you can probably get him for just a dollar or two of FAAB.

Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens (52% rostered)

Surprisingly, Rashod Bateman is rostered in only 36% of Yahoo leagues. Bateman’s now posted double-digit PPR efforts in consecutive games.

He caught 5 of 8 targets for 52 yards in the Ravens’ overtime win over the Vikings. A true breakout game feels imminent. He could be a difference-maker down the stretch. I’d spend 7-12% of your FAAB on him.

DeSean Jackson, Las Vegas Raiders (17% rostered)

The Raiders are currently without a field stretcher. Reporters have linked them to DeSean Jackson since his release from the Rams, and now it’s official. Jackson is worth a speculative add in deeper leagues. You can probably get him for a buck or two of FAAB.

Michael Gallup, Dallas Cowboys (68% rostered)

Fantasy managers roster Michael Gallup in just under half of Yahoo leagues. The Cowboys laid an egg in Dak Prescott’s return, but this is still an elite offense. Gallup is very likely to return in Week 10. He should have standalone WR4 value and would be an immediate WR3 or better if something were to happen to Amari Cooper or CeeDee Lamb. He’s worth a 3-5% FAAB bid.

Week 10 Waiver Wire Targets | Tight Ends

Which tight ends should you target on the waiver wire in Week 10? Pat Freiermuth and Dan Arnold are seeing solid target counts and can help tight end-needy teams.

Dan Arnold, Jacksonville Jaguars (35% rostered)

Dan Arnold caught 4 of 7 targets for 60 yards. That’s 10 PPR fantasy points. Given the state of the tight end position, that’s good enough. He’s worth a 3-5% FAAB bid.

Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers (50% rostered)

Eric Ebron will likely miss another game Monday night. Although this will post before we have the luxury of knowing what Pat Freiermuth does on MNF, what he did last week is enough to recommend him.

He’s seen 7 targets in back-to-back games and is an excellent red-zone target for Ben Roethlisberger. His FAAB recommendation will depend on what he does Monday night, but it could be anywhere from 3-15%.
