New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard returned from a hamstring injury in Sunday’s 38-11 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, picking up where he left off at the start of the season.
He got a steady dose of targets as the injury-battered NYG offense tried to patchwork an entire gameplan together. Given his current status as the top receiver and top active offensive skill position player on the squad at the moment, he’s definitely worth pursuing on the waiver wire ahead of next Sunday’s matchup against Carolina.

And with both Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney battling their own ailments, it looks like Shepard will continue to be the top guy moving forward.
