The Georgia Bulldogs are gearing up to face the Auburn Tigers at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Week 6.

Georgia has won 13 of the last 16 against Auburn in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry and will look move to 6-0 on the season this weekend.

To learn more about Auburn, we spoke with site editor Zac Blackerby at Auburn Wire.

UGA Wire: Georgia has the No. 1 ranked passing defense and No. 4 ranked rushing defense in the country. What type of play-calling balance are you expecting out of Auburn’s offense?

Auburn Wire: I think you will see a lot of Auburn’s offense go through the running backs. I don’t expect the run game to be successful so I expect Auburn to get their backs involved in the passing game. We saw the Tigers do that in their win over LSU when they targeted Shaun SHivers on the edge. I bet we see more of that paired with quick passes to help out the offensive line.

UGA Wire: How good is Auburn’s offensive line? It looked like Nix was running for his life in a nice win over LSU. Has that been a struggle all season and do you expect it to be an issue on Saturday?

Auburn Wire: I expect the offensive line to have their hands full Saturday against Georgia. In fact, I believe it will be the toughest part of the matchup for Auburn. Some of the pass rush is from Bo Nix moving around and not getting rid of the ball but the bottom line is that it doesn’t matter. Georgia is going to be in the Auburn backfield early and often Saturday.

UGA Wire: What is Auburn’s biggest concern on Saturday?

Auburn Wire: We’ve already touched on it. The trenches. I think Auburn is outmatched on both sides of the ball on the offensive and defensive line. The talent, size, and athleticism could be a big problem for the Tigers.

UGA Wire: What is something that Auburn excels at that should have UGA concerned about Saturday’s game?

Auburn Wire: I think Auburn’s corners can keep up with the Georgia wide-outs. If Auburn is able to slow down Georgia’s running game, the Auburn defensive backfield will be able to keep the Tigers in this game. The other factor that benefits Auburn is that the game is being played in Jordan-Hare Stadium. Weird things happen there.

UGA Wire: What’s your prediction for how this plays out?

Auburn Wire: I think Auburn keeps it close at the half and Georgia wears them down over the course of the game. Georgia wins this by a few scores.
