We are almost a month into the 2020-21 NBA season and beginning to see which players will be must keeps on your respective fantasy basketball team.

If you have Zach LaVine, Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, or Bradley Beal on your fantasy team, then you are likely in great shape. But where you can win your fantasy basketball contest is by making solid waiver wire pickups. This week, we are going to list three point guards that you should consider grabbing off of waivers.

Ownership percentage: 29 percent in ESPN Leagues

The San Antonio Spurs quietly have a record of 6-5 through 11 games this season. One of the reasons why they are playing above .500 level basketball is veteran point guard Patty Mills.

The 32-year-old guard is averaging 15.2 points per game and shooting 47.3 percent from three-point range off the bench. This season, Mills has scored at least 10 points in all but one game, where he still managed 15 fantasy points. The Aussie point guard won’t stuff the stat sheet, but can provide 20-30 fantasy points off the bench just with his three-point shooting.

Ownership percentage: 16 percent in ESPN Leagues

We all know that Jamal Murray is the starting point guard in Denver. But with Michael Porter Jr. still out and Will Barton in the starting lineup, the Nuggets need someone else to help out off the bench. That player who stepped up and provided a spark is backup point guard Monte Morris.

Through 11 games this season, Morris is averaging 11.4 points per game and shooting 37.8 percent from three-point range on 3.4 attempts per game. In the last five games, Morris has scored in double figures all but one game. He’s also averaging 26.2 fantasy points over that span of time.

Ownership percentage: 16 percent in ESPN Leagues

With Ja Morant still nursing an ankle injury, it has opened up the door for Tyus Jones to receive more minutes. The 24-year-old has done a good job holding down the point guard spot in Memphis’s starting lineup.

In seven games as a starter, Jones is averaging 9.0 points, 6.9 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 29.3 minutes per game. While he hasn’t shot the ball well, Jones is still finding a way to produce 42 and 48 fantasy points against the Cavaliers and Nets last week.
