Like sands through the hourglass, these are the days of Odell Beckham Jr.s’ life.
The wide receiver is hitting the waiver wire Monday, days after working out a separation agreement with the Cleveland Browns.
Here’s the latest:
UPDATE (4:28 p.m.): ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the “Browns officially placed Odell Beckham Jr. on waivers today; other teams can claim him and the $7.25 remaining on his contract Tuesday by 4 pm.”

“Will you guys be in the market for Odell Beckham?”
Lions coach Dan Campbell: “Uh, no.”
Detroit has first priority in the waiver order.

If he goes unclaimed, Beckham will be free to sign with the team of his choosing as early as Tuesday.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports “Beckham does not want to go to just any team, according to sources familiar with his thinking. Beckham wants to spend the rest of this season with a playoff contender and in a winning environment, where he believes he would be happy and productive.”
Beckham missed most of last season with a torn ACL in his left knee and has played sparingly in 2021, pulling in 17 receptions for 232 yards and no touchdowns in six games.
