The Jacksonville Jaguars almost fully changed their coaching staff with just a few holdovers from the last staff. One of the most important changes came on the defensive side as Joe Cullen, formerly of the Baltimore Ravens, was named the Jags’ defensive coordinator. And with his addition, it appears the Jags are set to run multiple sets similar to that of the Ravens.
To get a better grasp of what kind of scheme could be coming for the Jags and learn more about Cullen, James Johnson and Phil Smith sat down with Ravens Wire editor Kevin Oestreicher during Episode 80 of “Bleav in the Jags.” In addition to Cullen, we discussed how certain individuals fit the scheme on the roster and what will be expected out of certain positions.
Beforehand, James and Phil also discussed the start of training camp and went over some takeaways accumulated from Day 1’s session.
