10. Rushes Lamar Jackson had last year

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

In the 41-7 loss to the Ravens last year, Lamar Jackson rushed 10 times, the seventh-fewest of his 2019 season. The Texans gave up 7.90 yards on the ground though. If Jackson takes off, as near impossible as it is, the Texans are going to have to contain him.

Here is where Jackson may be the most dangerous: he has thrown three touchdown passes, one of nine quarterbacks this season to have already thrown three-plus within the first two weeks. For Joe Burrow and Baker Mayfield, it did take two weeks; for Jackson, it only took one.

8. Number of who QBs who tossed exactly 1 INT so far

Deshaun Watson threw an interception last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, making him one of eight quarterbacks to do so through the league’s first 17 games. Watson would not have been on that list had his arm not been hit while throwing a deep ball. The pass blocking has to be on point against the Ravens.

7. RBs with two-plus rushing touchdowns

Dobbins scored two rushing touchdowns last week, making him one of seven running backs to score two rushing touchdowns through the NFL’s first 17 games. When the Ravens get in the red zone, Houston will have to key on Dobbins.

The real number is 6.1, and it was tied with Dak Prescott for the 13th-highest of last week. The deep passing game just wasn’t there for Houston against the Chiefs. They will need to find ways to open it up against the Ravens.

Brown had 101 yards on just five catches. The Texans will have to be aware of his ability to stretch the field, because Lamar Jackson does have the cannon to get him the football.

The Chiefs rushed the ball 33 times against the Texans, the fourth-most through the first 17 NFL games. The Texans will have to limit Baltimore’s attempts and not let them dominate on the ground.

The Texans hit Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes just once last week, tied for the third-fewest in the NFL. They will have to generate a pass rush of some kind against Lamar Jackson if they want to have any hope of winning.

2. Times Bill O'Brien has started 0-2

The Texans fell to 0-2 in 2015 and 2018. It could happen again in 2020. If it does, the season is hardly over; O’Brien rescued those teams from their winless starts to recover for AFC South titles. Just don’t ask what happened in the wild-card rounds.

1. Lamar Jackson's passer rating rank

With a 152.1 passer rating from last week, Jackson logged the best in the NFL. The Texans are going to have to cut into that equation somehow and not allow Jackson to get near that mark. Or else, it could be a long day and another 47-1 type performance.
