There are some quarterbacks widely available that either have good matchups heading into Week 4 or had successful Week 3 performances that raised our expectations moving forward. With that in mind, here are five QBs with under 50% ownership at traditional fantasy football leagues that managers can consider picking up in their leagues.
Cousins went from just an absolutely awful game in Week 3 to a not as awful game in Week 4. He still threw two interceptions, but started connecting with rookie Justin Jefferson and ended up throwing for 251 yards and three touchdowns. He’s still a risky play, but the fact Jefferson busted out, giving Cousins two strong receivers to throw to makes a big difference. He also gets a great schedule, moving forward — @HOU, @SEA, ATL, BYE, @GB.
Mullens threw for 343 yards and one touchdown against the Giants last week and he should get a little offensive help back this week when he takes on a poor Eagles pass defense. We don’t know how ling Jimmy Garoppolo will be out, as he could even be back this week, but if he misses again, Mullens should be an upside play against the Eagles. Next up — PHI, MIA, LAR, @NE, @SEA
Foles looked pretty good in his comeback over the Falcons as he managed 188 passing yards, three touchdowns and one interception in relief of Mitch Trubisky. His schedule moving forward isn’t great, but he’s worth an add in 2QB leagues to see what he’s got in the tank. Up next — IND, TB, @CAR, @LAR, NO
Fitzpatrick is who he is and we can’t trust him to put up good fantasy numbers consistently, but we can look at streaming him in good matchups like he gets against the Seahawks in Week 4. Seattle has allowed 104 completions through three games, as they’ve upped their tempo and had trouble stopping other teams from scoring. They’ve allowed an amazing 76 receptions to wide receivers, giving Preston Williams and DeVante Parker a good shot at success this week. Up next — SEA, @SF, @DEN, LAC, LAR

If Herbert can hold onto the job, he gets the Jets, Dolphins, Jaguars and Raiders in Week’s 6-89 and he’s shown enough to keep the job despite two losses. He may have trouble with road games at Tampa Bay and New Orleans, but the Saints pass defense has not been what it was in the past.
