Southwest is the third airline to offer a direct flight to Denver, with Frontier and United being the others. Members of the Wichita Airport Authority hope this new route will help convince more people to take to the skies this fall.
Valerie Wise, air service development and marketing manager for the WAA, says it is a good sign that today's flight was already near capacity.
