INDIANAPOLIS (KWWL) -- The Iowa Hawkeyes are moving on in Indy. Second seeded Iowa led from start to finish and topped 15 seed Grand Canyon 86-74 to open up the 2021 NCAA tournament.
Luka Garza led Iowa with 24 points in the win. Joe Wieskamp added 16 for the Hawkeyes.
Iowa advances to face 7-seed Oregon. The Ducks first round game with VCU scheduled for Saturday night was canceled due to a COVID issue within the VCU program.
