Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is out in the wild, and with it, all of its juicy secrets. The Multiversal adventure featured Benedict Cumberbatch's Stephen Strange going head-to-head with Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch, as Strange attempted to protect newcomer America Chavez (played by Xochitl Gomez). Multiverse of Madness has gotten fairly positive reviews but has some questioning the villainous turn by Olsen's Wanda Maximoff.
Throughout the film's two-hour runtime, Wanda went on a murderous rampage, chasing Strange and Gomez to hopefully be reunited with her two sons. The film has plenty of violent and outright violent moments, with some of the most visceral coming at the hand of the Scarlet Witch.

However, what fans ultimately got was even tamer than what could have been. A cut scene that would have opened the movie would have emphasized Wanda's brutality even more, and details on exactly what it entailed have made their way out.
The Wanda Kill Fans Didn't See
According to Heavy Spoilers on YouTube, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness originally opened with a scene that saw Baron Mordo (played by Chiwetel Ejiofor) killed by Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff.
The sequence would have seen Mordo go to "visit Wanda at the start of the movie" after his pledge to "kill the Wizarding World" seen in the post-credit scene of Doctor Strange:

"Now that the film is out though, I can say I know for definite that there was a scene with Mordo in it in which he went to visit Wanda at the start of the movie. If you cast your mind back to the end of Doctor Strange, then you'll remember that the post-credits scene had him going on a quest to kill the Wizarding World worse than Fantastic Beasts did. In Multiverse of Madness, Strange even mentions how Mordo has been trying to kill him when he meets the Illuminati version. But, this is something that we've never seen and it's definitely not something that he would really know about as Mordo never really said anything along those lines at their last meeting."
His confrontation with Wanda would have been used to "demonstrate [her] new ruthless attitude" with the Scarlet Witch "turn him into mom's spaghetti, [and] beheading him within seconds of his arrival:"
"Now Mordo was going to be the main villain that showed up in the introduction to the movie and he'd be used to demonstrate Wanda's new ruthless attitude. He would go to attack her and she'd turn him into mom's spaghetti, beheading him within seconds of his arrival. It was going to be a big way to start the film and it instantly cemented Wanda as the villain."
It would be from this face-off that the film would have jumped to the opening seen in the theatrical cut with America Chavez and Defender Strange:
"From here, we would then jump to the gap junction, which is where we would be introduced to America Chavez and Defender Strange."
Leaving no Questions to the Multiverse
While a Mordo vs Wanda showdown to open Multiverse of Madness would have worked as a tone-setter for what was about to come, it is probably best that this is not how things kicked off. The way that the movie plays out as it is, fans are left questioning if Wanda is going to be the main villain or not.

It is not until she arrives at Illuminati headquarters and brutalizes the likes of Reed Richards, Captain Carter, and Professor X before it is clear that she has flipped a switch that there may be no coming back from. If the movie had opened with Mordo dying by way of the Scarlet Witch it would have done away with all the ambiguity surrounding her true nature in the film.
Plus, one has to account for the post-credit scene in Doctor Strange. As annoying to some as it may have been, the stinger from the 2016 film was not addressed in Multiverse of Madness meaning that Mordo is still a piece on the massive chessboard that is the MCU.
If Wanda has killed Chiwetel Ejiofor's wizard it would have meant that the setup done at the end of the first Strange film would have been for naught. And while it was not brought up in the Doctor Strange sequel, that is not to say it will never be brought back somewhere down the line.
