Direct Access Testing enables patients to select lab tests without an order from a healthcare provider and schedule low-cost testing at the SJMH Laboratory, which operates 24 hours per day, seven day a week.

Results are available electronically upon registering for the Patient Portal, allowing immediate access to laboratory results. Patients also have the option to have the results mailed to their home address.
