FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - The governors of Indiana and Ohio are among those directing flags to be flown at half-staff Sunday to honor those who have lost their lives to COVID-19.
Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset.
Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb is asking businesses and residents to join with government offices that are following the directive.
In Ohio, Gov. Mike DeWine issued a similar directive to honor the life and service of Annie Glenn, who passed away last week. Flags will remain at half-staff Sunday, to honor coronavirus victims, and Monday, as part of Memorial Day observances.
President Donald Trump also ordered all flags on government buildings lowered to half-staff through Sunday "for every life lost to the coronavirus pandemic."
